Studio policies

Attire

We kindly request the use of grip socks with full foot coverage. While instructors find fitted clothing helps observe form best, please feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable while moving. For our male clients, we recommend wearing lined shorts or pants during your sessions.

Cancellation

At Main Street Pilates, we adhere to a 12-hour cancellation policy for group class reservations and a 24-hour policy for private and duet sessions. Any cancellations or no-shows within this timeframe will incur the full charge.

Late Arrival

Out of consideration for everyone's time and safety, we are unable to admit clients five minutes after the start of a class. For private sessions, instructors will wait for 10 minutes, and in the absence of communication, the session will be forfeited. If you anticipate arriving late, please reach out to us via email (info@mainstreetpilates.com) or text (425-363-1021). Without communication within the first five minutes of a class, your spot may be given to a waitlisted client.

Payment

To confirm your reservation, all classes and private sessions require an account with a valid payment option. Payment is expected at the time of service.

Substitution

Main Street Pilates reserves the right to provide a substitute instructor for classes without prior notice.

Distraction-Free Environment

To create a serene atmosphere for everyone, we kindly ask that you silence your cellphones and keep them stowed away during class. The 50 minutes reserved for your class is a dedicated time for self-focus, and we appreciate your respect for your classmates and instructors by minimizing distractions.

Refunds

Please note that there are no refunds or exchanges on any purchased services or retail items.

Beginner Client and Group Class

Group classes, excluding Beginner Pilates, are tailored for clients familiar with Pilates and the apparatus. If you're new to Pilates, we recommend starting with Beginner Pilates classes or private sessions before joining general group classes.

Pregnant or Injured Client

For clients in their 2nd trimester and beyond, we kindly request registration for prenatal classes or private sessions. Clients with injuries, recovering from surgeries, or requiring modifications are encouraged to book private sessions for personalized guidance and support during classes.
